Entry of places in the Register of Heritage Places

PERMANENT REGISTRATIONS

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 51(2) of the Heritage of Western Australia Act 1990 that, pursuant to a direction from the Minister for Heritage, the places described below have been entered in the Register of Heritage Places on a permanent basis with effect from today.

East Perth Power Station at 11 Summers Street, East Perth; Lot 600 on DP 52123 being the whole of the land contained in C/T V 2714 F 297; Ptn of Lot 602 on DP 57640 being pt of the land contained in C/T V 2698 F 312, as to the ptns labelled 'E' on said Plan.

Briggs' Kiln (1), Carine at Reid Highway, Carine; Ptn of Lot 500 on DP 59906 being pt of the land contained in CLT V 3154 F 433 as to the ptn labelled “M” on IODP 404076.

Royal Perth Hospital Heritage Precinct at Murray Street and Victoria Square, Perth; Ptn of Lot 920 on DP 43817 being pt of the land contained in C/T V 282 F 192; Ptn of Lot 505 on DP 43817 being pt of Res 51529 and pt of the land contained in CLT V 3164 F 103; Ptn of Murray St road reserve; together as shown on HC Curtilage Map P4289-0.

PROPOSED PERMANENT REGISTRATIONS (CROWN AND PRIVATE)

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 47(5) of the Heritage of Western Australia Act 1990, that the Heritage Council has advised the Minister for Heritage regarding registration of crown property that it has resolved that--

1. the places listed below is of cultural heritage significance, and is of value for the present community and future generations;

2. the protection afforded by the Heritage of Western Australia Act 1990 is appropriate; and

3. the places should be entered in the Register of Heritage Places on a permanent basis.

Notice is hereby given that the places below will be entered in the Register of Heritage Places on an interim basis with effect from today in accordance with section 50(1)(b) of the Heritage of Western Australia Act 1990. The places listed below are wholly or partly vested in the Crown, or in a person on behalf of the Crown, in right of the State.

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 49(1) of the Heritage of Western Australia Act 1990 that, pursuant to a direction from the Minister for Heritage, it is proposed that the places described below be entered in the Register of Heritage Places on a permanent basis. The Heritage Council invites submissions on the proposal, which must be in writing and should be forwarded to the address below not later than 19 February 2016.

Lady Mitchell Memorial Child Health Centre, Bunbury at 2 Prosser Street, Bunbury; Lot 31 on DP 882 being the whole of the land in C/T V 1118 F 585; Lot 32 on D 611 being the whole of the land in C/T V 157 F 38; and Lot 1 on D 611, being the whole of the land in C/T V 157 F 38.

Chemistry Centre (fmr), East Perth at 100 Plain Street, Perth; Lot 101 on DP 401750 being the whole of the land contained in C/T V 2848 F 994.
