Entry of Places in the Register of Heritage Places

Proposed Permanent Registrations (Private)

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 49(1) of the Heritage of Western Australia Act 1990 that, pursuant to a direction from the Minister for Heritage, it is proposed that the places described below be entered in the Register of Heritage Places on a permanent basis. The Heritage Council invites submissions on the proposal, which must be in writing and should be forwarded to the address below not later than 19 December 2017. The places will be entered in the Register on an interim basis with effect from today in accordance with section 50(1) of the Heritage of Western Australia Act 1990.

Bridgetown Roads Board Office (fmr) at 17 Steere Street, Bridgetown; Pt of Lot 21 on D 74158 being part of the land contained in C/T V 1813 F 767 as shown on HC Curtilage Map P3583-0.

Piesse's Winery (fmr), Katanning at Lot 201 Warren Road, Katanning; Lot 201 on DP 40857 being the whole of the land contained in C/T V 2584 F 493.

Proposed Permanent Registrations (Crown and Private)

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 47(5) of the Heritage of Western Australia Act 1990, that the Heritage Council has advised the Minister for Heritage regarding registration of crown property that it has resolved that--

1. the place listed below is of cultural heritage significance, and is of value for the present community and future generations;

2. the protection afforded by the Heritage of Western Australia Act 1990 is appropriate; and

3. the place should be entered in the Register of Heritage Places on a permanent basis.

Notice is hereby given that the place below will be entered in the Register of Heritage Places on an interim basis with effect from today in accordance with section 50(1)(b) of the Heritage of Western Australia Act 1990. The place listed below is wholly or partly vested in the Crown, or in a person on behalf of the Crown, in right of the State.

Kobeelya, Katanning at Lot 131 Kobeelya Avenue, Katanning; Pt of Lot 131 on D 52651 being the part of the land contained in C/T V 1674 F 497 and portion of Kobeelya Avenue Road Reserve, together as shown on HC Curtilage Map P1355-0.
