Entry of Places in the Register of Heritage Places

Permanent Registrations

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 51(2) of the Heritage of Western Australia Act 1990 that, pursuant to a direction from the Minister for Heritage, the place described below has been entered in the Register of Heritage Places on a permanent basis with effect from today.

Chemistry Centre (fmr), East Perth at 100 Plain Street, East Perth; Lot 101 on DP 401750 being the whole of the land contained in C/T V 2848 F 994.

Proposed Permanent Registrations (Private)

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 49(1) of the Heritage of Western Australia Act 1990 that, pursuant to a direction from the Minister for Heritage, it is proposed that the places described below be entered in the Register of Heritage Places on a permanent basis. The Heritage Council invites submissions on the proposal, which must be in writing and should be forwarded to the address below not later than 1 March 2019. The places will be entered in the Register on an interim basis with effect from today in accordance with section 50(1) of the Heritage of Western Australia Act 1990.

St Paul’s Anglican Church, Presbytery and Hall, Beaconsfield at 162-164 Hampton Road, Beaconsfield; Lot 20 on P 12 being the whole of the land contained in C/T V 33 F 60 and Lot 21 on P 12 being the whole of the land contained in C/T V 7 F 105.

Charcoal Burner Site, Mount Observation at 526 Mount Observation; Pt of Lot 1 on DP 6754, being part of the land contained in C/T V 2079 F 140

Correction

In the notice published in the Government Gazette dated 28 August 1992, item HR401 page 4222, the land description for Railway Round House with Turntable, Collie was defined as—

Reserve 10519

This land description was inadequate as it did not include a sufficient description to precisely identify the location of the place.

The amended land information is as follows—

Portion of Reserve 47127 comprising part of Lot 561 on Deposited Plan 68077 being part of the land contained in Crown Land Title Volume LR3159 Folio 771; as shown on HC Curtilage Map P541-1.
