    2 Formerly referred to the Industrial Arbitration Act 1979 the short title of which was changed to the Industrial Relations Act 1979 by the Acts Amendment and Repeal (Industrial Relations) Act (No. 2) 1984 s. 4. The reference was changed under the Reprints Act 1984 s. 7(3)(gb).

    3 Under the Public Sector Management Act 1994 the names of departments may be changed. The former State Electoral Department is now known as the Western Australian Electoral Commission.

    4 Now known as the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission.
