    7. Tenure of office

    The Minister may remove a member of the Authority from his office

    (a) for misbehaviour or incompetence; or

    (b) if he becomes bankrupt, or takes the benefit of any Act for the relief of bankrupt or insolvent debtors; or

    (c) if he absents himself from 3 consecutive meetings of the Authority (except on leave granted by the Authority) or becomes incapable of performing his duties; or

    (d) if he becomes concerned or interested in any contract made by or on behalf of the Authority, other than a lease or a tenancy agreement, or participates or claims to be entitled to participate in the profits thereof or in any benefit or emolument arising therefrom: provided that this paragraph shall not extend to an interest as a shareholder in an incorporated company of at least 20 members.
