7. Saving; Certain references changed

    All statutes, ordinances, resolutions and rules of the synods of each of the dioceses referred to in section 6 shall to the extent to which they are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act and the Constitution continue until altered in accordance with the powers in that behalf conferred by the constitution of the diocese and they and all other Acts, proclamations, regulations, rules, local laws, by-laws and Orders in Council made by or under the law of the State and all grants, deeds, wills and other instruments shall be read and construed as if any reference to Church of England in Western Australia or Branch of the Church of England in Western Australia or any other words or name meaning the Church of England in Western Australia were a reference to the Church of England so far as it is in the State.
